The folks at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Miami Beach, Fla., are taking “expensive taste” to a whole new level. Thanks to a new partnership with French glassmaker and jeweler Lalique, the hotel is offering clients a chance to sample the most expensive white-tea macarons in the world. Dusted with gold and resting on a cushion of sugar crystals, the macarons are presented in a Lalique gift box and include an overnight stay at one of the property’s new four-bedroom Sky Palace Suites. These “Crystal Macarons” — with all the fixings — are available for a lofty $9,703.
“The St. Regis Bal Harbour is thrilled to partner with Lalique to offer unforgettable experiences for our guests to enjoy in impeccable settings throughout our luxurious resort,” said Oliver Key, general manager of the property. “As a brand of timeless beauty and tradition, Lalique was the perfect partner for this collaboration.”
