For a limited time, Clipper Vacations is offering a tour timed with the upcoming annual Lavender Festival in sunny Sequim. The excursion is offered only on July 16, 17 and 18.
Clients board a deluxe motor coach and enjoy a light breakfast as the bus heads north to catch the ferry for a scenic trip to the Olympic Peninsula. Lavender is visible all around as the group arrives into the Sequim area and heads directly out to several of the farms. The tour allows plenty of time to view the fields, smell the aroma, purchase plants and shop for lavender-related goods in quaint farm stores. A stop in town lets clients have lunch on their own and enjoy the annual Lavender Festival street fair. Participants will want to try some refreshing lavender lemonade and a lavender scone, perhaps bringing home the recipe and some key ingredients.
The cost of $86 per adult includes all transportation, ferry fares, entrance to lavender farms, breakfast en route and a tour escort. The rate per child (ages 4-12) is $74.
