On June 30, Northstar Travel Group (the parent company of TravelAge West) hosted its first GTM Alumni Town Hall for nearly 200 travel advisors who have previously attended either Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) or Global Travel Marketplace West (GTM West).
The three-hour event, hosted on digital platform Remo, included networking and a general session exploring the state of the travel industry from the perspectives of the GTM Advisory Board.
Andy Stuart, former president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, made a surprise appearance.
Supplier sponsors included Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Olive Tree Escapes, Sandos Hotels & Resorts, Titanium Tours and Tourism Australia. This year’s GTM will take place Oct. 29-31; GTM West will take place Sept. 19-21.
