Celebrate the Movies at Universal Studios Florida

Families visiting Universal Studios Florida can now end a fun-filled day with the theme park’s new Cinematic Celebration.

“Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is a vivid celebration of beloved characters from Universal attractions and some of the world’s biggest films,” said Robyn Ryan, director of travel industry sales for Universal Orlando Resort. “Your clients can cap off their day by watching it all come to life in a dedicated viewing area designed specifically for the show.”

The nighttime show highlights the magic of the movies as scenes from “Despicable Me,” “Jurassic World,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” the “Harry Potter” films and more are displayed on a massive 350-foot-wide panoramic water screen. The production is accompanied by state-of-the-art projection mapping, pyrotechnics, lasers, 120 dancing fountains and classic movie music.

“The nighttime sky is a place where we create our own theater and produce an amazing show that will revisit all the characters and moments that guests experience at Universal Orlando,” said Michael Aiello, director of entertainment creative for Universal Orlando Resort. “Guests can relive their entire day right before they leave.”
