From its chic, all-white exterior to its minimalist decor, Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos perfectly sets the tone for a relaxing vacation. But don’t let the simplistic exterior fool you — the property is filled to the brim with over-the-top amenities and experiences just waiting to be discovered.
Upon my arrival, I was struck by the magnitude and beauty of the place, which is seven stories high and welcomes guests through a grandiose entrance. The exteriors were designed by architect Roberto Elias, while the interiors were brought to life by designer Francois Frossard.
“The unique flora and fauna of Los Cabos, the climate, the landscapes and the surrounding mountains had a big influence on the architect’s design of the resort,” said Frank Corzo, vice president of U.S. field sales for Palace Resorts, the parent company of Le Blanc Spa Resorts. “He wanted to ensure the property was in line with the original brand born in Cancun with its smooth lines, redefined corners and elegance without complications. All four buildings curve toward the ocean and permeate the flair of the local area’s rich soil.”

The all-inclusive, adults-only resort is ideal for couples and groups of friends traveling together. The lavish accommodations include well-appointed designer suites outfitted in cool shades of white and plush furnishings, and all rooms are equipped with private terraces, oversize bathrooms with bathtubs and rain showerheads, and a nightly aromatherapy menu (my favorite was the lavender vanilla). In-room liquor dispensers offer a choice of brand-name whisky, rum, tequila or vodka for a nightcap.
The bathrooms were generously stocked with Bvlgari products, Chi hair dryers and flat irons, and an array of luxury bath salts; all of my beauty needs were taken care of. What made my stay particularly memorable was the personal butler service that is available to all guests. Whether clients need help packing their suitcase or want a bubble bath waiting when they return to their room, the butler will take care of it.
With seven on-site restaurants and five bars, there is no shortage of culinary options at Le Blanc.

Other dining options include Lebanese restaurant Mezze and Blanc Ocean, which features fresh catches of the day. My only regret on this trip was not being able to stay long enough to try every single restaurant on the property.
When I wasn’t lounging by the pool (of which there are four, including an infinity), I spent time at the award-winning BlancSpa. Spanning more than 29,000 square feet, the spa features a hydrotherapy area, hot and cold plunge pools, an ice room and an herbal steam room, among other offerings. After my 50-minute Maya massage, which incorporates techniques and rituals inspired by the region’s ancient natives, I emerged feeling ultra-relaxed and remained that way for the entire trip. (Although I couldn’t imagine feeling any other way at Le Blanc.)

At Le Blanc Spa Resort, the decor sets the tone for the relaxation each guest enjoys. We redefine the concept of luxury and the perception of pampering.”
