true to its mark. Situated on the Bay of Tangolunda, the hotel is a

According to Walter Bekar, corporate director of sales for

atmosphere at Quinta Real Huatulco begins with check-in.
“The location where we welcome our guests has been appropriately
designed to allow tired travelers to gaze out into the ocean and

Smaldoni.
After a private check-in, guests receive a mini-tour of the
grounds as they are escorted to their suite. An amazing display of
bright yellow flowers known as copa de oro (gold cup) are in
abundance throughout the property.
The hotel’s spacious design creates an image for guests that
they are the only ones around. Couples appreciate touches like the
romantic balcony overlooking the Bay of Tangolunda and the
extra-large hammock for two. A select eight of the 28 suites have a
two-story balcony with private plunge pool - perfect for couples
wanting to escape to an exclusive tryst.
When guests decide to venture around the property, most head for
the private beach club to enjoy its two pools and dining at La
Cuija restaurant. Here, they can request a poolside or beachside
massage, all in a setting that’s private and relaxed.
Through Oct. 31, nightly rates at Quinta Real Huatulco are from
$265 per room, based on single or double occupancy. Rates include
master suite accommodations, welcome cocktail and American
breakfast for two during the stay. A two-night minimum stay is
required on weekends (Friday and Saturday).
