Bryce Canyon, designated as a National Monument in 1923 and a National Park in 1928, is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the U.S. One of the best ways to take in the natural wonder of the landscape is by staying at The Lodge at Bryce Canyon, located at the Paunsaugunt Plateau rim — the only overnight lodging available inside the park.
The Lodge puts guests within a five-minute walk of the Plateau rim, as well as an easy drive away from 13 lookout points and a number of trail heads. Bryce Canyon National Park is open all year, but The Lodge at Bryce Canyon is only open seasonally, so advance bookings are recommended.
Sunset Point and Sunrise Point rooms, renovated in 2012, are located in separate buildings within a short walking distance of the main Lodge. Most guestrooms have two queen-size beds, a full bath and a private porch or balcony, starting at $174 per night.
