The annual Festival of Trees returns this year at the Coeur d'Alene Resort from Nov. 23 to 26. The weekend following Thanksgiving, the festival has become a community tradition and a way to proceed into the winter holiday season.
Visitors can view nearly 40 decorated Christmas trees, which are sold at an auction. Events include Friday d’Lights, the Senior Social, the Festival Gala, Family Day, the Children’s Workshop, the Luncheon Fashion Show and the Dinner Fashion Show.
Proceeds raised help fund Kootenai Health, the hosts of the event. The event has raised more than $4.4 million, which has supported projects such as the Kootenai Cancer Center and the Kootenai Heart Center.
