Coeur d’Alene Resort's "Mudgy and Millie Adventure" features an introduction to "Mudgy & Millie," the new children's book by local author Susan Nipp and highlights the launch of the new 2 1/4 mile Mudgy Moose Trail.
Created in conjunction with the Coeur d'Alene Parks Department, the Trail allows families to follow Mudgy the Moose and Millie the Mouse's game of "hide and seek" through Coeur d'Alene. The Trail, which starts at scenic Tubbs Hill and winds along Lake Coeur d'Alene and through town, is marked along the way by five life-size bronze statues of Mudgy and Millie that were created by internationally acclaimed sculptor and painter Terry Lee
Starting at $199, the Adventure is available now through June 30, 2009 and includes:
* Guided tour of scenic Tubbs Hill and the trails along Lake Coeur d'Alene. Tour includes unique history of the area, introduction to local wildlife and a trip along the route followed by popular local children's book characters Mudgy and Millie
* Family dinner at Tito Macaroni's, the resort's family Italian restaurant, where kids are invited into the kitchen, put on chef toques and prepare their own pizzas
* Overnight accommodation
* Copy of "Mudgy & Millie" book to first 100 reservations
