Nina Meyer has been named president and chair of ASTA. Serving under her is John Lovell, the newly elected vice president and secretary, and Scott Pinheiro, the treasurer.
Meyer has worked in the travel industry since 1976. She served for four years as president of ASTA’s South Florida chapter and is currently president of the International SKAL Club of Miami. She has also served on numerous task forces and committees for both ASTA and Virtuoso. Most recently, she served as ASTA’s national treasurer.
The three new members to ASTA’s board of directors will help facilitate the business of selling travel, shared knowledge within the travel industry and effective representation for associates.
