Travel Agents Enjoy Dozens of Deals in Hawaii During Mahalo Month

Apr 05, 2013

Recognizing the valuable role that travel agents play in sending visitors to Hawaii, the state’s tourism industry annually says mahalo — thanks — by offering them special deals around the islands.

The initiative — dubbed Mahalo Month — provides travel professionals with low rates and appealing offers each year in April and May, so that they can see firsthand how much the destination has to offer.

A joint venture between the Hawaii Tourism Authority and the state’s visitor industry, Mahalo Month presents discounts on activities, accommodations, air travel, attractions, car rentals, dining and shopping.

Over 100 offers are available to retail agents, tour operator staff and reservation agents during Mahalo Month. To view the offers, participants must register online.
