Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) will resume operating tours to Cuba starting in October 2024 with the launch of a new 10-day Luxury Small Group Journey called Cuba: People, Art & Culture. This comprehensive program spans nearly the entire island, from Camaguey to Havana, providing an in-depth exploration of Cuban heritage, arts and culture through intimate local experiences.

"We're very excited to be returning to Cuba, a multifaceted island just 90 miles from the United States, but offering a rich history and distinctive culture that very few Americans have experienced firsthand," said Stefanie Schmudde, Senior Vice President, Global Product Strategy at A&K.

We're very excited to be returning to Cuba, a multifaceted island just 90 miles from the US, but offering a rich history and distinctive culture that very few Americans have experienced firsthand.

Highlights for clients include visiting the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Camaguey, Trinidad and its Valley of Sugar Mills, Cienfuegos and Santa Clara. Guests will experience Cuban arts through private ballet rehearsals, art studio visits, musical performances and interactive pottery workshops. The itinerary also covers agrarian life with ranch visits, tobacco farm tours and meetings with local farmers.

Guests will also have the opportunity to gain "a deeper understanding of Cuba’s economy and U.S.- Cuba relations during an insightful talk with a former Cuban diplomat," according to an A&K press release.

Travelers will explore important revolutionary sites, such as the Che Guevara Mausoleum in Santa Clara and Museum of the Revolution in Havana. They'll also enjoy rum and cigar pairings, mojito making classes, dance lessons and visiting Ernest Hemingway's former residence.

The 18-guest maximum group features an A&K Resident Tour Director, local guides, arrival/departure transfers, and Traveler's Valet laundry service. It operates under a people-to-people license supporting civil society and private enterprises in Cuba.

The 10-day Cuba: People, Art & Culture tour starts at $8,495 per person, based on double occupancy. It is guaranteed to operate with a minimum of two guests.
