Billed as the Pacific Northwest’s largest theme park, Silverwood Theme Park, near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, will transform itself into Scarywood Haunted Nights during the month of October. The Halloween-themed park will feature both new attractions — including the indoor Blood Bayou attraction — and crowd-pleasing favorites with a scary twist.
In certain areas of the park, for example, guests will wander through thick fog, dodging “creatures” and “zombies” lurking in the shadows. The Thunder Canyon raft ride will again be drained and converted into the Terror Canyon Trail where guests will encounter other nightmarish characters. And, only during Scarywood Haunted Nights, clients can ride the Timber Terror Roller Coaster like never before — backwards.
Even the tamest of rides will be given a scary Halloween makeover. For instance, Steam Engine No. 7 will transform into a “zombie-hunting machine” that will take guests on an action-packed, interactive ride.
The entrance fee for the park during Scarywood Haunted Nights is approximately $25 for all ages, and it includes access to all rides and the haunted attractions.
