For the last four months, G Adventures has been celebrating travel advisors in a big way. From January through April, the tour operator handed out over $75,000 in cash and prizes to dozens of advisors during its annual G-Normous agent incentive program.

Designed to honor and thank travel advisors, this year’s incentive program highlighted a different destination each month, featuring exclusive discounts that agents could offer to clients, along with informational sessions and community challenges, such as online socials and trivia events. Advisors also had the chance to win a variety of monthly prizes, ranging from free trips to cash and G Adventures swag.

One lucky winner (Carly H. from Georgia) also snagged a grand prize of $5,000, while a runner-up (Rachel B. from Idaho) was awarded $1,500.

“We wanted this year’s G-Normous to be the biggest and most fun one yet,” said Jenn Stevens, U.S. trade marketing manager for G Adventures. “We know how challenging it has been over the past few years for travel advisors, so we wanted to show them how grateful and appreciative we are of their hard work. They truly are heroes when it comes to rebuilding the industry.”

G Adventures has run its G-Normous incentive program for nine years to celebrate the perseverance, dedication and hard work of travel advisors. This year’s community challenges were a new addition to the lineup, bringing agents together in a fun way, offering more chances to win prizes and even letting advisors nominate their “travel hero peers” who went above and beyond for their clients.
